McCain's site is the only one to make use of the full display width. At the top is a head-shot photo of McCain in dark suit and reddish tie, standing in front of a large American flag. To the right is the logo "McCain 2000" with the name in white and the year in red, and an American flag to its left. The header is on a field of dark blue.

The first column is a set of graphical links on a blue field, set up as an announcement board. There is a white-on-red tab reading "Contact", a red-on-white "Home" link, 10 additional links, and concluded with a white-on-red "Site Map" link. The 10 links are:
